45h in Copenhagen

The last two weeks in Berlin passed quickly, and then if headed home, to Copenhagen, for 1½ days. I managed to see many of my dear friends during my short short visit. I will miss them very much during the next don't know how many months.

Saturday I first had fun at Egmont, my (ex)home. Then I wen't to a crazy Hawaii party in Vesterbro!

Monday morning it took some time to find my way to Nørreport (all the roads in Copenhagen were closed for traffic due to the World Championships in Bicycling (or whatever the name for that is).

Monday morning, back to Helsinki (on the right Lauttasaari, the island I grew up on, can be seen).

Now I'll spend some time with my family and friends, before flying to Mexico 4.10! WOOP!!

Life is good

Life has been quite good lately. Berlin is such an interesting city, the weather has been nice and the people more than wonderful.

I just had my wonderful friends Camilla, Maiken, Marise and Susan visiting me in Berlin. After a long week at work I met them at Alexandersplatz and we went to Oranienstrasse for a dinner. The evening included drinks, laughing, more drinks, amazingly funny Englishmen, again more drinks and more laughing.

Last weekend i went to an amazing Danish house party at Samariterstrasse with Johanne, who I know from home (we have lived together the past 2½ years or more!). Niceness! And once again, supercool people. I'm really lucky I meet so nice people all the time.

Yesterday me and Johanne went to Mauerpark outdoor karaoke. I really have to sing there before I leave Berlin, I've got such cravings for that!!!

Work is good. I'm not sure though if this is what I'm going to do. I mean, I'm so fascinated by my bachelor supervisor Maria Vang Johansen and her work with zoonotic diseases (well, parasites but still part of diseases..). Maybe I'll end up with something like that. I've been having some problems with accepting the way we treat our animals and how egoistic people can be and just keep suffering animals alive that can't be saved. Anyhow, I have some favorites at the clinic;

Fell in love with Quarter horses. Soccs is 5 years, so sweet, and we're doing cooling of the leg and some walkies every day. He's been at the clinic now for 3 months due to a wound on the tarsus. Wish I could take him home with me! And oh, forgot to tell about the sexy outfit I wear at work. Well. You see it yourself!
